eat:Festivals will be hosting a food and drink festival in Cranbrook on Sunday 13 September 2026.

The festival will be happening in the heart of the town, on and surrounding the Tillhouse Road. eat:Festivals are a small social enterprise who have been delivering one day food and drink festivals in towns across the south-west for over 13 years. Bad news for Canadian anglophiles as the Canadian government suddenly declares several popular British foods unfit for sale. Products such as Marmite, Lucozade, Penguin Bars, Bovril and Ovaltine are all apparently enriched with too many vitamins and minerals, while other products, such as beef stock and canned soup, contain too much animal product. Lucky ice cream fan, Meryl Logan, has won a nationwide competition to have her own Ben & Jerry’s Core flavour made into a reality.

Meryl, a primary school teacher from Exeter beat stiff competition to see her creation, Toffee Apple YUM-ble - which packs apple and custard ice creams with crumble pieces together around a caramel core - be mixed by expert flavour gurus to her exact specifications.

Costa is bringing festive spirit to Exeter’s Princesshay this weekend teaming-up with UK children’s charity Youth Music to bring shoppers some Christmas entertainment with a difference.
