Crave, a well-loved independent restaurant from Exeter, is set to open its second restaurant in Bristol this spring, marking the next chapter for the growing brand.

Founded by Sameer Shetty, Crave opened on Exeter’s Quayside in summer 2024 and quickly built a loyal following for its welcoming atmosphere, all-day menus and focus on flavoursome food enjoyed without fuss. Iconic Exeter pub saved after lockdown announces new head chef

Exeter’s iconic Hourglass pub has announced David Smith as its new head chef. The much-loved pub in Melbourne Street was saved from closure by The Exeter Brewery after it did not reopen following the pandemic.

David began his career in Devon. After working in some of the region’s best hotels he moved onto various restaurants across New Zealand and Australia. He now returns to the South West after spending seven years cooking in London.
