Ilfracombe will play host to the Devon Street Food Festival from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July. Welcoming a collaboration of local, regional, and national street food caterers to the sunny seaside town on the first weekend of the summer holidays!

The festival will be located at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds; we are encouraging people to bring their picnic blankets and lie in the sun on the grass bank to listen to our live music and relaxing funk playlists.

From gourmet Mac n’ Cheese, to deep-fried Cajun chicken, to award winning vegan offerings! There will be something to suit everyone’s tastes!

Joel O’Neill, Manager of Devon Street Food Festival said: “We’ve worked on a lot of street food festivals and events over the past couple of years, but this is the one the team are most excited about! The location is amazing, the variety of food vendors is mouth-watering, and the time of year is ideal! We want the event to be accessible to everyone, so entry is completely free.

"The food on offer will cater for everyone’s needs; from vegan and vegetarian, to gluten free etc. The event is child friendly but anyone under 16 will have to accompanied by an adult. We are currently looking for local musicians who fancy playing at the event too, we want to showcase local talent so get in touch! As for drinks, we will have plenty of ice cold beers, cocktails, soft drinks and mocktails on offer. We are in talks with some local ale breweries too, hoping to bring them on board to add some more locality to the event.”

Kurbside Kitchen, LJ Hugs, TandooriQ, Fresh Rootz, Polar Pops, The Really Tiny Coffee Co, Gourmet Street Kitchen, Black Pig Catering, RB Soul Food, and Full Metal Jackets have been announced so far, with many more to be announced this week.

A fully licensed bar will be offering artisan lagers, craft beers, Prosecco and cocktails. For those driving, low ABV lagers and mocktails will also be available ensuring visitors don’t miss out the opportunity to taste the variety of food on offer with an ice cold beverage.

Sounds of local musicians will see us into the evening as well as our Funk, Soul, Jazz, and Hip Hop soundtrack.
