Stage Entertainment Touring Productions proudly presents the first arena tour of DreamWorks Madagascar Live!, visiting Exeter from 21st-24th February 2013.

Everyone’s favourite Madagascar characters will star in a live theatrical show based on the blockbuster DreamWorks Animation franchise, reliving the fun and humour of the animals and their escapades, brilliantly recreated in an arena production of lively storytelling, dance and music, including the hit song ‘Move It, Move It’.

The title role in Exeter’s own professional pantomime Aladdin, running at Exeter Corn Exchange until 6th January, is taken by sixteen year old Will Trafford in his first professional stage outing.

Given that his father is the writer, producer and director of the show you might say it was inevitable that Will would get a starring role, but there's no denying Will's pedigree, and he had to prove himself before getting the part.

An Arctic zoo, charity giving and a children’s TV favourite all feature at Living Coasts over the Christmas period.

Santa is bringing his toy zoo to Living Coasts. A special Grotto will be surrounded by snow scenes filled with cuddly Arctic animals, including Arctic fox, reindeer, snowy owl, Arctic hare and polar bear. Eskimos – themselves an endangered species – will also feature.

The Snail and the Whale exhibition opens today

Arts education charity Daisi will be drawing on its team of more than 150 professional artists and its links with schools across the county once more to put together a very special project, which is part of a longer-term partnership with Exeter Northcott Theatre.

A new Junior Futsal course is being launched in Exeter, giving young footballers in the city a chance to hone their football skills in the fast-paced indoor game. Exeter City Football Club is running the new course for children aged 7 – 14 over four weekly sessions in November and December, beginning on Friday 11th January.

Futsal is a small-sided, indoor game which is growing in popularity both as an excellent way of improving football skills and as a fun, exciting game in its own right.
