Children are now spending more time outside for the first time in recent years, a new survey has revealed – with families living for the weekend and using school holidays to embrace the great outdoors. Despite some Government reports* suggesting that children simply don’t get outside enough in 2018, the survey of over 1,000 parents, commissioned by award-...

Getting your family through divorce

Falling out of love is no one’s fault. Relationships end, and it’s not fair to place any blame or guilt on yourself when they do. Of course, not every relationship ends amicably. Feelings get hurt, you feel betrayed, and hurt, and it’s hard to not externalise what you are feeling. Divorces can be amicable, and they can get ugly, but when you have a family together your children must always be your number one priority. However, dealing with divorce and matters related to the custody of the children is a lot more complicated than one would expect, because according to www.claremoreattorneys...

So, what are the activities you can do as a family which don’t cost too much and can also be beneficial for your child’s development?

Despite the arrival of the new year and, with it, a flurry of new year’s resolutions, winter is a time when it can be tempting to let good habits slide - often in favour of hibernating in front of the TV with a giant box of chocolates. But with the decreased exposure to sunlight that comes with shorter, darker days, Vitamin D levels are at an all-time low in winter, often leaving you feeling lethargic, low and sapped of energy. Getting some fresh air is more important than ever now, and for more reasons than you might think.
