Banxy workshops for half term at the Northcott
Exeter's Northcott Theatre is offering an exciting half term of workshops with veteran UK hip-hop dance artist Banxy. As one of the original practitioners of the b boy/b girl, street and hip-hop genre, he has taught the core fundamentals of this ever-popular art form to participants for over 20 years.
All his workshops offer participants the chance to learn new and challenging moves, explore their own creativity and engage positively with others whilst learning in a fun and safe environment.
Banxy's workshops are suitable for those aged 7 yrs+ and are individually tailored to meet the needs and experience levels of the age and abilities of the specific group.
He will be presenting a course of five morning workshops, as well as a series of individual sessions for various ages in the afternoon and early evening.
Rock Up and Roll Mon 29th October – Fri 2nd November 10am – 12 noon (5 sessions) Ages: 8-12 No experience necessary £40/£25 for young people whose parents/carers qualify for the Northcott's standard concessions
Come and Have a Go! (Beginners Session Age 8 - 12) Tuesday 30th October 2pm-4pm £10/£5 for young people whose parents/carers qualify for the Northcott's standard concession
Come and Have a Go! (Beginners Session Age 12+) Wednesday 31st October 2pm-4pm £10/£5 for young people whose parents/carers qualify for the Northcott's standard concessions
Come and have a Go! (Beginners Session Age 8 - 12) Thursday 1st November 2pm-4pm £10/£5 for young people whose parents/carers qualify for the Northcott's standard concessions
Come and have a Go! (Age 14+) Thurs 1st November 5pm-7pm £10/£5 for young people whose parents/carers qualify for the Northcott's standard concessions
Experienced Dancers Age 18+ Wednesday 31st October 5pm-7pm £10/£5 for young people whose parents/carers qualify for the Northcott's standard concessions
