‘Can Ewe Knit It?’ celebrates Shaun’s 30 years

Shaun the Sheep, the beloved stop-motion character created by Aardman, is celebrating 30 years since his debut in Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave (1995). To mark this milestone, Aardman has launched a global crafting campaign called ‘Can Ewe Knit It?’, inviting fans and crafters worldwide to knit or crochet Shaun-inspired woollen blanket squares.

Track Father Christmas

Any parent who has ever been asked the question ' But how does Father Christmas deliver all the presents in one night?' needs to visit http://www.noradsanta.org/ .

This fantastic website allows its users to ' track' where Father Christmas is currently flying with his reindeer.

At 13.50 today St Nicholas had just visited Tokyo, with his next stop being Kyto.

16 year-old Holly Morwenna Rawlings from Exeter has made it through to the Grand Final of the national music competition Open Mic UK! The finalists will now perform in front of an audience and celebrity judging panel at The NEC in Birmingham! The children are due to break up for the Christmas holidays this week and it coincides with a brilliant new film release.

A selection of the South West’s finest choirs have come together to take part in BBC Spotlight’s much loved series of festive broadcasts.

Four choirs and a soloist representing Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset each recorded two of their favourite Christmas carols in the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel, on the University of Exeter’s Streatham Campus.

Luke can't wait to get to Exeter

Devon's X Factor hero will return home with mentor Louis Walsh today. They'll be touring the area Luke calls home building up to his hugely anticipated homecoming gig at The Great Hall in Exeter.

17 year old Luke from Teignmouth will perform to a crowd of his most adoring fans tomorrow night, some of whom were waiting outside the Guildhall Shopping Centre from as early as 4am today in the hope they could get their hands on some tickets.
