New comedy club to open in Exeter

A brand new comedy club is opening in Exeter 's Lemon Grove on Friday 17 October.

Five top comedians from the national stand-up circuit will be on stage at Exeter's Comedy Grove, the newest comedy club to the city, bringing down the best acts on the national stand-up circuit, with many who have appeared on shows such as Live at the Apollo and Russel Howard's Good News.

Devon-based music charity Wren Music has welcomed a national survey which shows that more young people than ever before are learning to play an instrument, but says more can be done to keep them involved in music into adulthood.

Projects like Wren’s ‘Rough Music’ orchestras, ‘Voices in Common’ choirs and Roots Music School - its community orchestras and choirs across Devon - are aiming to do just that.

Following Rebekah as her first job descends into a nightmare, Conscientious deals with large scale issues within the claustrophobic, small scale but familiar environment of an office. As the office becomes a battleground, friends become enemies and Rebekah is forced to consider the consequences of her actions...
