Applications are now open for the second round of this creative developmental opportunity for established and emerging creatives across the South West.

Following the huge success of their Scratch Night collaboration during Elevate Festival in October 2025, Exeter Northcott Theatre and Exeter Phoenix are teaming up once again to support South West-based artists through a continued Scratch Night partnership.

A new board games club has started up in Exeter.

The Brainstormers Board Games Club meets every Thursday at 2.30pm at St Sidwell’s Community Centre, Sidwell Street, Exeter.

If you like games or just making new friends, go along and have some fun in a relaxed environment.

Exeter theatre company Four of Swords is reviving one of its most popular productions.

Jekyll and Hyde returns for a two week run in the sinister and shambolic setting of Poltimore House on the outskirts of Exeter from 5th - 14th March.

The company first performed its mad and inventive adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Victorian chiller at Poltimore House in 2013. The production whipped up a heady mix of captivating performances, special effects, film projections and live gypsy music.

Cygnet’s graduating actors have begun working with Jemma Gross on two strong and wonderful plays, Nine and The Last Nickel by American writer Jane Shepard.

A rich crop of local and national artists will headline at the 38th Dartmoor Folk Festival, which will be held at South Zeal, near Okehampton, on August 7, 8 and 9.
