Free Cider and Summer Tunes Come to Devon with a Music Series from Thatchers Cider

Free pints, live music and summer vibes

Thatchers is set to delight music and cider fans heading into venues and pubs across the summer with a national 40+ gig series that will visit Devon throughout August.

A mix of Juicy Sounds DJ nights and Summer Sessions acoustic evenings will be held to celebrate what promises to be a summer filled, not just with sport, but with music too.

Events are currently planned for:

Charity music festival returns to Exeter

Exeter’s Oxjam Takeover campaign now in its ninth year, is part of a fervent network of music lovers across the UK, all helping to combat global inequality and poverty within local perimeters.

Over 50 cities host multi-venue events during October, which are all organised by volunteers who know and love their music scene.

Vintage enthusiasts are set to flock to Exeter's Bike Shed Theatre for a packed day of activities and entertainment.

The Vintage Variety Day on Sunday, August 16, begins with a flashmob at 1pm in Princesshay, when singers, dancers and musicians, including members of the many Devon ukulele groups, will join cabaret star Tricity Vogue in a singalong of You Are My Sunshine. The gathering will then promenade through the Exeter streets to the Bike Shed Theatre, in time for the opening of the vintage fair at 2pm.

Acclaimed artist unveils new collection in Exeter

The works of an engineer turned professional artist who creates enchanting paintings inspired by the English countryside will be on display at an Exeter gallery this month.

Acclaimed painter Paul Corfield presented his charming new collection of land and seascapes at Castle Fine Art on Cathedral Yard on Saturday 25th July. The exhibition will be available to view for two weeks until Sunday 9th August.

Hey, it was a fair enough text. I mean it’s not every day you accept an invite to a Tuesday night gig to watch a band billed as ‘the next big thing” and then find yourself on a farm in the middle of nowhere.
