BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw today announced that The 1975 and Jake Bugg have joined the line-up for Radio 1’s Big Weekend Exeter 2016.

The 1975 and Jake dropped into The Radio 1 Breakfast Show to make the announcement, which follows on from their performance last night at Radio 1 Presents, where the pair exclusively took to the stage alongside Lady Leshurr at London’s O2 Forum, Kentish Town.

Seven Devon art groups are looking for votes, hoping that they will win the opportunity to display their work at Exeter’s award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) from 30 April to 29 May.

Visitors to Exeter Cathedral have a special opportunity to meet the artist behind the current ‘Via Crucis’ exhibition, which has been on display since early February.

Caroline Waterlow will be in Exeter to talk about her work and its inspiration at 1pm on Wednesday 9th March for the latest of the Cathedral’s Lunchtime Bite events.
