A special screening of a landmark film will be held to mark the 20th anniversary of Exeter's Bill Douglas Cinema Museum this week.

First released 30 years ago in 1987, Comrades was made by director and collector Bill Douglas and is now regarded as a masterpiece, following years when it wasn’t seen by film-goers. This year also marks two decades since the museum, which holds the collection that Bill put together with his friend Peter Jewell, was opened to the public.

After the sell-out success of Bob Dylan’s legendary The Beaten Path, a series of limited edition hand-signed silkscreen prints have been released and will be on display at Castle Fine Art from next week. The Beaten Path: The Silkscreen Collection features six hand-signed, coloured silkscreen prints taken from Dylan’s major solo exhibition which took place at the end of last year. Exeter's Premier League, rugby club, Exeter Chiefs and Stephen C Associates (SCA) have linked to support each other’s activities throughout the rest of 2017.

Exeter Comedy Grove welcome Red Dwarf star Norman Lovett to The Barnfield Theatre on Wednesday 10th May.
