This year’s Northcott pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk really is a cracker! With a strong cast, pacy storyline, local references, great songs and plenty of laughs; Steve Bennett’s home-grown production proves that Exeter audiences love nothing more than a good panto to make the festive season complete.

The Teignmouth and Dawlish Drama Festival (TADDfest) takes place each year in the spring at the lovely Shaftesbury Theatre in Dawlish.

Mark Twelfth Night with Tudor cooking at Exeter’s oldest building

Food, music and festive decorations will be available at Exeter’s oldest building as part of a free community event to mark Twelfth Night.

Families can celebrate Epiphany Sunday at St Nicholas Priory, off Fore Street with a Tudor sweetmeats cooking demonstration in the building’s spectacular kitchen.

The event will be held on 6th January 2019 from 1 to 4pm.

To celebrate their 10th year anniversary and 30 years since The Beautiful South released ‘Song For Whoever’, The South are back this Spring, with a March 2019 - UK Tour playing shows up and down the whole of the UK.

The South are an impressive 9 piece band who feature former members of The Beautiful South including singer Alison Wheeler and lifelong sax player Gaz Birtles. Panto at Exeter Corn Exchange has a reputation for bringing a novel approach to the classic storylines. This year, Devon favourite: Daniel Page ('Billy Elliot', 'Hairspray') is playing TWINS in the exotic and magical 'Aladdin'! He promises "Double the fun and double the trouble" as he is playing Abanazer and also Widow Twankey!

It's a plot twist which will allow Daniel to let out his naughty side as much as his damely nature!
