Lunchtime Theatre: Tangled Feet present Inflation

A bouncy castle sits in a public space. On it Tangled Feet try to solve the recession, understand trading and keep the darn thing up! Every attempt at order and structure is undermined by the moving landscape and actions of others. Using an evocative soundtrack, physical theatre and slapstick comedy, award winning Tangled Feet explore the uncertain ground our world is standing on. Performances at 11.45am and 1.15pm, free.
This City's Centre Part 3 - Here, Now

Blind Ditch complete their contemporary portrait of Exeter with a series of multi-platform performances in an empty office space. Combining live video streaming from city centre homes, live performance both in the space and on the city’s streets, and interaction with an online audience, This City’s Centre 3: Here, Now invites us to discover more about how daily life in a British provincial city shapes us, our behaviour and our dreams for change. Ring Round the Moon

Exeter Cathedral’s own Cathedral Players present Ring Round the Moon by Jean Anouilh. The show is an adaptation by Christopher Fry subtitled A Charade with Music and described as a little puff-ball of a story, a bubble from a glass of champagne twinkling in the fairy lights of a Winter Garden. The Tour of Britain – Devon Stage (Stage 6)
Friday, Sidmouth to Dartmoor
The Devon Stage (Stage Six) of The Tour will cover 85 miles of the county, starting in Sidmouth and finishing in Dartmoor National Park. The race starts from The Esplanade, Sidmouth at 11am, will be in Exeter at 12.44pm and finishes on Haytor at 2.30pm (approximate times). More details: www.southwesttourofbritain.co.uk

Wet Sounds is an underwater listening experience. Dive in through the water immersed in sound that is clear, detailed and intimate. Family Fun Bike Ride to Escot

Naomi Hart - All About Migration

Naomi Hart has sent out 10,000 hand-cut postcards in the shape of Brent Geese to all corners of the world and is constructing a ‘flying’ installation of them as they wing their way back to her from the furthest reaches of the earth, including the Arctic, the Antarctic, Eastern China and Western Canada. The show is open every day from 11am–6pm until Sunday as part of Devon Open Studios.

The annual chance to see a selection of work by some of the most talented emerging artists from across the UK and beyond. 'intolace' - dual exhibition at Devon Guild and Thelma Hulbert
Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Bovey Tracey and Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton
A partnership exhibition which challenges preconceived ideas of 'lace'. Straddling both venues intoLACE presents 22 artists overall, who seek to examine the historic uses and values of lace with particular reference to Honiton lace at the Hulbert. Exhibits at the Guild feature fabric-wrapped ceramic, photograms, glass-encased lace, sun-prints through lace, laser-cut paper sculpture and delicate jewellery.
