Exeter Phoenix is the venue hosting three of the biggest and most influential acts of the past five decades.

On June 16, Nick Lowe "the man who helped shape punk rock" accompanied by Los Straitjackets, America's famed surf rock instrumentalists, will be making their first tour outside the States in over 10 years!

With a back catalogue to die for, expect such classics as "Cruel To Be Kind" "I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass" and "I Knew The Bride When She Used to Rock n Roll" together with a host of great new songs and highly entertaining banter from this incredibly charismatic performer.

On October 18, the legendary singer/songwriter Al Stewart together with ace Chicago outfit The Empty Pockets, will be appearing at the venue for the first-ever time.

The "Hits & Misses" tour features all his much loved material along with rarely performed songs dating back to his first album "Bedsitter Images" in 1967.

A rare chance to see this gifted and captivating performer in an intimate setting.

On October 27 there's a Special 50th Anniversary Show from Wishbone Ash, one of the all-time great rock/blues bands.

This specially extended show features video clips of the band through the years taking the audience through their illustrious history.

Such is their huge popularity, they continue to tour the world performing classics such as "Blowing Free" "The King Will Come" "Throw Down The Sword" as well as great new songs with their hard-hitting twin lead guitar driven rock winning a whole new army of fans along the way.

Support comes from the equally dynamic blues/rockers the Groundhogs.

Matthews Hall in Topsham is the place to be on November 3 when the legendary Kiki Dee accompanied by virtuoso guitarist Carmelo Luggeri bring their spellbinding acoustic show to town.

The show features the classic hits "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" "I Got The Music In Me" and the stunning "Amoureuse" along with unique cover versions of songs by such artists as Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Frank Sinatra, Janis Ian, Buddy Holly and Marvin Gaye.

Performing in this stripped back fashion allows each of their exceptional talents to shine through and create a wonderful and warm sense of intimacy for the audience.

Tickets are available from the Exeter Phoenix, Topsham Bookshop and www.wegottickets.com
