The world famous New Jersey hip-hop act – best known for their timeless hit Rapper’s Delight – head to Devon this summer to headline Lemonfest 2018 on the Saturday night (9th June), topping an eclectic bill of music. Expect a celebration of all things old-school hip hop from the iconic act in what is going to be a full-on party set from start to finish.

Recently described as a mash up of Basement Jaxx and The Rocky Horror Picture Show performing at The Moulin Rouge, festival favourites Slamboree are one of a kind. They will be co-headlining the Friday (8th June) night opening party on the main stage with Crazy P, who are renowned as having one of the best live dance music shows on the planet and will bring some serious slinky underground Disco vibes.

Also announced so far are Krafty Kuts, who’s set will feature a guest performance from none other than the illustrious Jurassic 5’s Chali2NA, who also recently collaborated on a number of songs with them. London’s favourite 8-piece brass act the Hackney Colliery Band will bring their innovative brand of jump up and down covers to Saturday afternoon, as well as critically acclaimed Devon folkstresses Sound of the Sirens. Other acts announced inc: Afrikan Boy, Rinse:It, Pattern Pusher, Bert Miller, Datura, Orlata & Red Right Hand… plus many more to be added.

Matt Freemantle, organiser; "To say we’re excited about having some genuine, bonafide hip-hop legends at this years’ festival would be an understatement. This year’s ethos is all about fun, and bags of it. We’re planning on creating one huge party atmosphere from start to finish. We can’t wait to share more acts and surprises with you”

Taking place across two-days, Lemonfest is back with a big old bang to Newton Abbot Racecourse on 8th-9th June. The popular festival has built a reputation as a proper 2-day party – to kick-start festival season and remains 100% self-funded by the two founders - who are childhood friends. An eclectic mix of entertainment is split across 5 x very different stages & tents, whilst an array of bars and food stalls sell irresistible local & international produce alike.
