Fresh off the back of their national Spring tour of Dick Tracy and a packed summer season performing at festivals such as Glastonbury and Kleines Fest im Großen Garten in Hannover, Germany, Exeter's award-winning physical comedy theatre company, Le Navet Bete, are bringing the indoor version of their hugely popular street show, Extravaganza, to Exeter Phoenix on 26th and 27th August 2015 .

These four fools are determined to tell their individual 'cultural' stories no matter what the cost may be. Join Romano, Keith, Hans and David Blooper on a ridiculous, madcap romp, rammed full of acrobatics, improvisation, live music, audience interaction, circus influences, downright silliness and even a 9ft flaming unicycle. Don't be mistaken - these guys really don't like each other. How they ended up on stage together is one of life's great mysteries. Nothing they have ever tried to achieve has come to fruition. They really are utter idiots.

Extravaganza has toured right across the world extensively, as far away as Mexico, and has entertained tens of thousands of people of all ages. It draws influences from all genres of performance but has yet to take any of them seriously. What's On Stage said of the show "A show that is crafted to within an inch of its life you feel like the chaos could come crumbling down at any second, simply beautiful. Le Navet Bete are a company on top form and leagues ahead of anyone else doing this work."

The two one-off performances are taking place in the main auditorium of the Exeter Phoenix during the renovation period that the arts venue is having done.

Nick Bunt, co-artistic director of Le Navet Bete, said "We're very excited about bringing the indoor version of Extravaganza to Exeter. Exeter Phoenix is where we are based andwith incredible support from the public, as well as Exeter City Council, itmade sense. As the show is so versatile and can be performed almost anywhere, and after having conversations with Exeter Phoenix, we decided that it'd be a really fun and unique experience for audiences to watch the carnage on stage unfold around them in a half finished theatre auditorium - what could possibly go wrong?!"

Le Navet Bete's Extravaganza will take place at 7.30pm on 26th and 27th August 2015 at Exeter Phoenix, £10 tickets. Box Office: 01392 667080.
