It's Back!

Announces New Event Dates

at Torquay Boys' Grammar School

Following the huge success of its inaugural event in 2018, the Torbay Art Show is proud to announce the dates for the next event: Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March 2020.

Continuing its commitment to the school, Cavanna Homes has again confirmed that it will be the main sponsor for this event.  As a family business established in Torbay, the company recognises the importance of investing in the next generation.

Keith Miller, Managing Director, Cavanna Homes commented, 'We were so impressed with the show last year and the high quality of artwork on display, we are proud to be supporting the show for a second year in a row.'

Peter Lawrence, Headteacher, Torquay Boys' Grammar School said, 'The school is very much looking forward to opening its doors and welcoming parents and the public to the Torbay Art Show 2020.  Cavanna Homes has had strong links with the school for many years and we are very grateful for its ongoing support of this fantastic event.'

Offering itself as a perfect venue for the Torbay Art Show, the school's Cavanna Centenary Hall at Torquay Boys' Grammar School, will again be transformed into a modern space, where professional artists, from Devon and across the UK, will exhibit and sell their artworks.

With free admission to the show, visitors will enjoy the impressive variety of art exhibited by over 50 artists including, paintings, ceramics, sculptures and much more.

The Torbay Art Show has been organised by the Parents' Association of Torquay Boys' Grammar School, and all proceeds will go towards the refurbishment of the Sixth Form centre. The investment will see the Sixth Form take on a brighter, more spacious appearance with computer and study rooms for unsupervised learning and new café area for students to join together in an open and friendly environment.

We would like to extend our thanks to all the sponsors who have embraced our idea and supported us with their generous investments.
