Following the government’s roadmap announcement that outdoor cinemas can re-open from 17th May, Adventure Cinema is excited to announce a new socially spacious tour, offering guests the chance to enjoy the magic of the movies this spring and beyond.

Stopping at some of the UK’s most scenic spaces, including Belmont Park in Exeter, Saltram House in Plymouth, Torquay Recreation Ground and Newton Abbot Racecourse, the open-air events invite friends and families up and down the country to pack their favourite picnics, pick their cosiest blankets, and watch great films under the sun and the stars, all in a socially spacious and safe environment.

With all manner of movies being screened - from cult films like The Rocky Horror Picture Show and 80s classics like Dirty Dancing, to family favourites like Grease and The Greatest Showman, and some of the best modern blockbusters - there really is something for everyone at Adventure Cinema. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit: https://www.adventurecinema.co.uk/

More than just great movies, Adventure Cinema offers guests the chance to experience the great outdoors, and visit some of the UK’s most picturesque venues. This includes heritage parks, iconic sporting locations and areas of stunning natural beauty all across the country. For those looking for a truly magical and immersive experience, tour highlights include screenings of Harry Potter in the grounds of a medieval castle and a showing of Monty Python and the Holy Grail outside a Norman-era keep.

The tour will also visit castles in Yorkshire, Wrexham and Powys, National Trust sites in Dorset, Devon, London, Staffordshire and Hampshire, and country estates in Somerset, Crewe, Cheshire, Surrey and Norwich, as well as many, many more venues across the breadth of the UK. With over 80 locations spanning the country, your next adventure is showing at an outdoor cinema near you.

To ensure the safety of its events without hampering the magic of the cinema, Adventure Cinema has chosen socially spacious, open-air venues for the entirety of the UK-wide tour. When entering each venue, groups will be guided to their picnic space by friendly stewards, who will seat people safely away from other groups. Other measures include wide aisles to the left, right and centre of the event space, allowing people to safely move around, and regularly cleaned, individual toilet units with hand sanitising stations outside. So whether picnicking with pals or enjoying a big family outing, visitors can rest assured that they’re in a safe space.

Ben Lovell, Co-Director, Adventure Cinema, comments: "We had great fun putting on the UK’s biggest ever drive-in cinema tour last summer, and now we can’t wait to travel all over the country once again, this time with our open-air cinema season. Just like with the drive-in shows, we’ve worked very hard to ensure that these events are safe and lots of fun for all the family. We’ve got some amazing films to show in some truly incredible spaces, and we’re excited to offer guests two things they may have desperately missed in recent months: the cinema and the great outdoors.”

Tickets for Adventure Cinema start from £14.50 + Booking fee and are available now via: https://www.adventurecinema.co.uk/

Ticket holders will be offered a 100% money-back guarantee should anything mean that the events cannot go ahead.

Movies being shown on the tour include:
The Greatest Showman, 1917, Joker,  the Harry Potter series, Grease, Dirty Dancing, The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Jurassic Park, The Goonies, Pretty Woman and many more.
