Following the success of the Natural Navigator talk in April Dartmoor National Park welcomes Gavin Kelly and Rich Pencott along to talk about climbing and microadventures.

On Tuesday 19 May go along and be enthralled by Gavin Kelly’s rock climbing talk, ‘Scaling new heights!’ Gavin, of Ibex Outdoors, has more than thirty years of climbing experience on Dartmoor and will talk about the unique experiences that Dartmoor has to offer climbers.  His passion for climbing has taken him all over the UK and beyond; a journey of learning and sharing amazing places and experiences but discover why he always finds himself returning to Dartmoor.

The following month, on Tuesday 16 June, Rich Pencott of Adventure 360 will encourage us to just get out there and open the door to new experiences through a microadventure.

Be inspired by Rich’s passion for microadventures and find out how they don't have to cost a lot of money, don’t require a lot of equipment, don’t need a guide or require you to travel huge distances. A microadventure directly from your front door could be a night under the stars, your first climb or a multi-day bike trip but it just needs you to get out there, enjoy the outdoors and get involved.

Both talks start at 7pm at the National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown and cost just £5 per person (no discounts apply). To book call 01822 890 414 between 10am and 5pm, seven days a week.
