Devon’s own success story ‘Casitas’ are back in Devon for a homecoming gig on Friday 18th April at the Tobacco Factory in Exeter.

Casitas, consisting of Barney, James, Ed, Felix and Jack, are returning to Devon after uprooting to London to further their music career.

Originally from Exeter, they will perform at the Tobacco Factory in the city on Friday 18th April at 7pm.

As well as their Exeter performance the group, who were recently featured on Dermot O’Leary’s Radio Two show, are also set to perform a live session for BBC Introducing in Devon on Saturday 19th April.

The performance will be recorded at BBC Radio Devon’s Plymouth Studio.

After a year and a half of past successes, including winning the 2012 South West Music Award for Best Video with their experimental track ‘Places in Dreams’, the band relocated to the big city in August to write and record new material.

No strangers to exposure in the past, with airtime on BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 1 as well as being championed by numerous southwest-based radio stations, their most recent offering ‘Gold’ is now turning heads within the BBC.

BBC Introducing presenter James Santer said:

“Barney is sounding the best he’s ever sounded on Gold…really impressed with this record. We are tipping them as a big band to watch this year”

Their up and coming Exeter gig is set to see them secure even more success, with music industry scouts lined up to attend the performance.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see this band before they secure even more success.

The alternative pop group are performing at the Tobacco Factory on Friday 18th April. Please contact the Tobacco Factory for more details regarding entry to the event.
