This February half term there’s plenty of fun and adventure to keep the whole family entertained at The Donkey Sanctuary, including daily grooming and face painting activities from the 13-21 February

Open from 9am to dusk every day. An array of family-friendly activities will be on offer. In addition to exciting activities, there are rescued donkeys to meet and visitors can, explore the Maze, or take a walk through the beautiful woods and amazing scenery.

Chris Phillips of The Donkey Sanctuary says “This half term we have some great exclusive activities planned. These will include donkey grooming, face painting and a Valentines holiday hunt! We have so much to offer for the whole family on a day out, it’s a great place to be.”

After exploring the Sanctuary, the Hayloft restaurant is the perfect place to warm up. Its extensive menu including kid’s portions, specials, vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as mouth-watering homemade cakes and biscuits, make it a great place to enjoy a rest, before the next adventure begins.

Holidays hunts will run all day from the 13-21 February.

Donkey grooming will run between 11am-12pm, then again from 2 -3pm, face painting will be between these sessions from 12-2pm. Activities are priced individually, daily. Find out more about the Sanctuary’s events at www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk/visit-us/sidmouth

The Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth is open seven days a week from 9am till dusk and admission is free. It holds events and open days throughout the year and all proceeds go towards The Donkey Sanctuary’s work in the community and worldwide.
