Colder days may be just around the corner but there’s plenty of fun and adventure to keep the whole family entertained at The Donkey Sanctuary this autumn.

Open from 9am to dusk every day, an array of family-friendly activities will be on offer.

While the weather’s still good grab the kids and enjoy the outdoors, wander around the heart of the Sanctuary, explore the Maze, or take a walk through the beautiful woods and amazing scenery.

Chris Phillips of The Donkey Sanctuary says “Half term will be packed full of adventure with signs of autumn nature packs and a spooktacular holiday hunts. There will also be pumpkin carving and face painting every day in the week running up to Halloween, there is everything you need to get into the spooky spirit!”

After exploring the scenery the Hayloft restaurant is the perfect place to warm up. Its extensive menu including kids portions, specials, vegetarian and gluten free options as well as mouth-watering homemade cakes and biscuits make it a great place to enjoy a rest, before the next adventure begins.

Holidays hunts will be running from the 19 of October, pumpkin carving and face painting will be available from Monday 26 to Friday 30 of October. Find out more about the Sanctuary’s events at http://www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk/visit-us/sidmouth
