Year 8 students from West Exe School marked the start of the National Year of Reading 2026 with an inspiring live session from children’s author Tom Palmer.

Broadclyst Community Primary School (BCPS) has been recognised as a Centre of Assessment Excellence during GL Assessment’s 5th National Assessment Conference in London on 3 March.

Exeter Tennis Centre awarded funding to deliver Tennis 4 Teens

Exeter Tennis Centre has been awarded £1,800 by the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) Play Tennis Fund to deliver a free tennis programme called Tennis 4 Teens.

Beginning on Wednesday 1 March, children aged 14 to 16 will learn practical tennis skills in fun and sociable sessions. The next generation of construction specialists studying at Exeter College had a behind-the-scenes tour of an innovative low energy building project.

Reception children at Exeter Cathedral School have rounded off their recent scheme of learning by holding their very own Dinosaur Day.
