Seaton Wetlands recently hosted 26 primary school teachers from across Devon to help them use the outdoor environment to develop mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills for children.

The day-long course entitled ‘Developing Young Mathematicians Outdoors’ was delivered by education rangers from East Devon District Council's countryside team with support from school improvement advisor and curriculum consultant, David Weatherly.

Mayor opens new classroom and state-of-the-art 3G sports pitch at Okehampton Primary School

A ribbon cutting ceremony was carried out by The Mayor of Okehampton, Jan Goffey, to officially open the state-of-the-art Third Generation (3G) sports pitch and new classroom, at Okehampton Primary School & Nursery.

Free places on offer at Exeter School

Exeter School is delighted to offer eight free places to children from the local community. The co-educational independent school for children aged 7 – 18 has received sufficient donations and legacies from former pupils, in addition to ongoing grants from a local charity, to create eight bursaries for children from Exeter.
