Find World Book Day costumes for free in Devon libraries

Libraries Unlimited is partnering with Recycle Devon to bring World Book Day costume swap rails to 15 libraries in Devon. World Book Day 2026 is Thursday, 5th March and library swap rails are running from 16th February to 8th March. Customers are invited to donate outgrown, unwanted children’s costumes in good, wearable condition. Costumes will be available to take home for free!

Twenty companies and apprentices will represent the wealth of Apprenticeship talent across the South West after being short-listed for the regional heat of the prestigious National Apprenticeship Awards 2013.

Exeter College student Samantha Banks is celebrating after winning the National Award for Outstanding BTEC Travel and Tourism Student of the Year 2013, by Pearson UK.

Honiton Primary half way to their iPad goal

Businesses across Honition were invited to an open evening at Honiton Primary School last week (11 July) to learn more about the school and to have an opportunity to be a part of its future.

They were treated to a tour of the school and enjoyed a presentation on the journey the school has taken over the past five years as well as a view of what the future holds.
