Ben Bradshaw MP spoke to a large crowd at the first Exeter School Medical Society meeting of the term.

Pupils gained a fascinating insight into the work of an MP who has represented Exeter since 1997 and held a number of significant positions in the Cabinet.

He spoke briefly on the different approaches to medical health care and discussed the pros and cons of a National Health Service before opening the floor to questions.

Pupils asked a wide range of questions on many aspects of current politics as well as the future of Medicine which will stand potential Upper Sixth Medics in good stead as they approach their interviews later this year.
