Exeter's new outdoor Home Education Group

Exeter Forest School have launched a brand new outdoor Home Education Group for young children and teenagers in Exeter and the surrounding areas.

The group will begin as straight-forward forest-school, eg. den-building, bush-craft, free-play and aims to be able to develop, weaving in some elements of the school curriculum with underlying forest school activity themes.

The Home Education Group will give children and teenagers the opportunity to explore nature, build on their confidence skills and make long, lasting friends.

The group will run in half-termly blocks and children will need to be booked in for a whole block at a time. The cost of this will be made payable in advance through our website.

The sessions will be run by experienced and passionate Forest School Leader and Director Chris White who has been working in the educational sector for many years.

"We think offering an outdoor Home Education Group will be really beneficial for families in Exeter", commented Chris. "We've put together an exciting term which is packed full of activities and learning in natural surroundings. We have had lots of positive feedback so far from parents after holding a successful first session yesterday. We are really passionate about offering an alternative means to mainstream education giving everyone a chance to flourish."
