Devon charities announced as partners for huge weekend of live music

Four Devon-based charities have been selected to be official partners for the county’s biggest music event this summer.

TK Maxx presents Live At Powderham runs for four nights from Thursday June 25 to Sunday June 28, featuring headline shows from vocal powerhouse Teddy Swims, seven-time GRAMMY winner Alanis Morissette and global superstar Lewis Capaldi.

Each night will see a local charity given the opportunity to have a team of fundraisers on site and for 2026 Live At Powderham will support Devon-based charities who make a big impact in the communities they serve....

Redrow West Country donates over £45,000 to local charities

Two Devon charities will be able to carry on providing vital support and lifesaving work thanks to donations from house builder, Redrow West Country.

The Devon Freewheelers, the volunteer emergency vehicle drivers who transport blood and other samples to hospitals across Devon, and the Get Changed Theatre Company, the specialist theatre company for adults with learning disabilities, will each receive £23,464 and £21,725 respectively raised by Redrow’s West Country division to help support their work.

Living Options Devon (LOD) is an award winning, Devon-based charity which supports local disabled and Deaf people to live the life they choose.

Over 8,000 disabled and Deaf people benefit from the charity's charitable activities each year.

Crealy Adventure Park & Resort has raised £10,000 for the WESC Foundation, a specialist day and residential centre for young people and adults with visual impairment including complex needs in Exeter, Devon.

The Exeter Foundation is launching its first Devon Sporting Legacy Project Grant to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Devon Sports Awards.

The Foundation, which is the official charity of the Exeter Chiefs, is making £20,000 available to match fund an existing organisation’s project fund to assist them with the achievement and completion of their sporting legacy project.

A national charity is appealing for volunteers to come forward and help the blind people it supports in the Exeter area.

British Wireless for the Blind Fund (BWBF) provides specially adapted audio equipment to visually impaired people across the UK.

A deaf student care worker from Exeter Deaf Academy has challenged deaf students to test their grit determination and physical endurance by training them for the Escot Mud Run at Escot Park near Honiton, on Saturday 25 March.
