Young Devon is delighted to have been named as Sitel’s Charity of the year.

In addition to the announcement, the staff at Sitel have also raised a fantastic £3,500 for the charity, which Young Devon hopes will go towards creating a drop-in service at the Exeter YES Centre.

With offices in Exeter city centre, Sitel is a leading outsource provider of customer experience management, supporting major brands, with a 600 strong work force. The money has been raised thanks to staff holding numerous fundraising events including bake sales, dress down days and raffles.

Tim Tod, CEO of Young Devon said ‘We are overwhelmed by the generosity of staff at Sitel and are hugely grateful for this wonderful gesture.’

‘Young Devon is honoured to have been named as Sitel’s Charity of the Year and we hope to continue working together to support young people in and around Exeter and throughout Devon.’

‘We are particularly delighted that we were nominated by young person that we previously worked with.’

Matthew Cleveland, Exeter Site Director said: ‘Each year Sitel Exeter chooses a charity to support, and Young Devon was chosen by the Exeter staff this year.’

‘It is an important local charity who provide tremendous support to young people in Devon’

‘Their dedication to young people is visible in all their projects and we are very proud to be working with them and look forward to continuing our partnership into 2015’
