A solicitor with over 30 years of experience has joined The Family Law Company in Exeter.

Stuart Smallman grew up in Birmingham where a chance meeting with a barrister when he was a college student sparked a lifelong interest in law.

On qualifying, he practiced in the Midlands including Birmingham and Lichfield. Although he initially worked in a variety of legal areas including litigation and Wills, Stuart was drawn to family. The Connecting Devon & Somerset Mobile Boost scheme has secured over £430,000 from the Heart of the South West LEP, to provide vital mobile connectivity to rural communities.

The Mobile Boost scheme ran from February 2021 to March 2023, and funded over 1,700 installations across the region, helping small businesses and homeworkers with poor indoor mobile coverage.
