Technology boosts flexible working

With a growing number of professionals working outside the main office at least some of the time, use of remote working tools has radically increased.

In fact, 73% of Exeter workers have used at least one tool enabling remote working in the previous month, according to a survey of over 4,000 senior business people across the UK by global workplace provider Regus.

The Devon Tourism Partnership, which promotes Devon under the 'Visit Devon' brand, is currently determining the future direction of the county’s promotion, domestically and internationally, and looking for businesses to tell them where they’d like their efforts concentrated.

Two well-known businessmen who are on a 170-mile yomp from Devon to London have already raised more than £23,000 for the Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund.

One of Devon and Cornwall’s leading law firms has revealed its year end figures, showing strong growth to top off an exceptional year for the firm, which saw it named among the 100 best mid sized companies in the UK to work for by the Sunday Times.
