Ignition supports Brooklands Events & Marquees with acquisition of Toby’s Garden Festival

Asset finance provider, Ignition, has arranged a £60,000 Growth Guarantee Scheme (GGS) loan to support the expansion of Brooklands Events & Marquees Ltd, enabling the business to take over the management of a well-established gardening festival.

The funding has helped Brooklands acquire The Garden Fest Co Ltd, the company behind Toby’s Garden Festival, which takes place annually over the early May bank holiday weekend at Powderham Castle near Exeter.

A grant scheme supporting rural businesses in parts of Devon and Somerset has awarded more than £1.5 million of funding over the past two years - becoming the top performing LEADER Local Action Group in the country.
