PSG expands South West operations

Market leading national conveyancing search provider PSG is set to expand its South West operations.

From Friday 27 February, operations will move from the St Judes based office to a larger bespoke office based in Estover. The move will allow the Plymouth franchisee PSG branch to bring improvements to the services it provides clients as well as being able to hold in-house events and training.

Store manager turns Exeter shop owner and creates jobs!

After ten years of managing convenience stores for other people, well-known local retailer Ross Newham has taken the plunge and opened his own Costcutter store creating nine new jobs.

Ross purchased two former pop-up shops in South Street from Exeter City Council in October last year as part of a programme of regeneration of the city centre. The units had been vacant for the previous eighteen months. Ross has knocked them into one larger store, as part of a major redevelopment programme to create an excellent store for his customers.

Flybe signs new leasing agreement

Flybe has entered into agreement with Avation PLC, a specialist commercial passenger aircraft leasing company, to lease four new ATR72-600 turboprop aircraft which will be used on its white label operations for Scandinavian carrier SAS.

Flybe announced on 26 November 2014 that it had entered into a white label agreement with SAS, with operations due to commence in October 2015.

The ATR72-600 leases are for an initial period of six years with extension rights thereafter. They will be delivered between September 2015 and February 2016 – and will be introduced into service...

Fast-growing Exeter firm, Astley Media has won the contract to provide PR and marketing support for the new Queen Street dining quarter.

The business was selected from a local shortlist by the developers and site owners Aviva Investors.

This is the latest of a number of major contracts the firm has secured in the past six months.
