Exeter Junior Chamber, part of Exeter Chamber of Commerce, is holding its next event at Exeter Library on Tuesday 21 October, 4pm-6pm. The event will be a training session with Business Coach Judy Salmon on how to ‘manage and present well at meetings’.

The training session, aimed at young professionals aged between 20-35 years old, will cover important aspects of presenting at meetings including how to communicate effectively, structure information and ensure success.

Exeter Junior Chamber started in February 2014 with a successful launch event at Reed Hall with speaker Michael Caines MBE which attracted over 90 young professionals from the city. The group, which is sponsored by Francis Clark and WBW Solicitors, aims to bring together like minded young business people between the ages of 20-35 in the Exeter area. The group is part of Exeter Chamber and acts as a voice for young business people and encourages networking and business skills for members.

Judy Salmon, Business Coach and Training Consultant said: “Meetings are an important part of any business. I will be taking delegates through some useful tips so that they can feel more confident about contributing in meetings.”

Peter Lewis Bending, Chairman of Exeter Junior Chamber said: “I am so pleased to see Junior Chamber becoming so active since its launch earlier this year. The last training event we held was a great success and I expect this one will be no different.”
