
First class advice for Barratt first time buyers
Home buyers at Barratt Homes in Exeter are experiencing first class service thanks to Rydon Place’s Chris Haynes.
Chris was so impressed with the advice he received when he bought his first home that he decided to switch jobs.
The sales advisor on Barratt’s Exeter development said, “I always remember how excellent the customer service was when I bought my first home, the advisor really made all the difference and I thought I would like to work in the same industry.”
Chris applied to Barratt for a position of sales advisor as he knew it was the region’s leading housebuilder and also has a great reputation of building quality homes; once recruited the 25-year-old completed Barratt’s comprehensive training course.

Now fully qualified, and winner of sales advisor of the quarter after only a few months in his new job, Chris likes nothing more than helping first time buyers complete their purchase.
“There are many different types of buyer coming in,” says Chris. “Some are looking to invest, some to downsize while others are looking for a larger property, but I would say about a third are first time buyers and it is always very rewarding advising them. I just hope that when the sale is complete they also have a positive lasting memory of the service and advice we gave, like I did.”
