Basepoint Exeter Sport Relief Cycle Challenge

Exeter have completed their part of the Basepoint Relay Cycle Challenge in aid of Sport Relief set by Basepoint HQ.

Each of the 30 Basepoint centres were challenged to cycle to the next nearest centre.

Centre Manager, John, and Assistant Centre Manager, Amy, on Tuesday cycled 62 miles between them... the equivalent of the distance between Basepoint Exeter and Basepoint Weymouth.

They then set the Exeter Licensees a challenge - to cycle the distance between the Basepoint Centres in Exeter, Weymouth, Bournemouth and Gosport - a total of 143 miles in a day.

The Licensees rose to the challenge and by 2pm 103 miles had been clocked. The final push meant that a total of 220 miles were cycled by Friday afternoon.

John and Amy were delighted with the support, sponsership and cycling prowess of all at Basepoint Exeter who helped to raise over £500 for the Sport Relief Charity.
