Re-branding and re-naming were top of the agenda at the latest South West charity network event to be organised by wealth management company Brewin Dolphin.

Held in Exeter Library and co-hosted by the Step One charity, more than fifty guests gathered to hear Chief Executive Officer Eilis Rainsford talk about why Step One, formerly St Loye’s Foundation, had changed its name and what impact the new look and title has had. This was followed by a lively question and answer session, light refreshments and plenty of opportunity to network.

“We were delighted to see so many people there and give them the chance to get to know each other and share their experiences, ideas and issues,” said Associate Investment Manager Kelly Eva. “The network launched at the end of January this year and already we’ve got a vibrant online LinkedIn community that helps people in the sector keep in touch.

“Charities haven’t had an easy time lately so it’s important for them to get together when they can. At Brewin Dolphin we’re committed to supporting our local community as much as possible and these networking events are an excellent way of doing that.”
