Coastal Recycling, the South West’s leading independent recycling and waste management specialists, has won a contract to deliver a complete recycling solution for the highly-anticipated luxury country house hotel, Lympstone Manor, the vision of chef Michael Caines MBE.

Working across every department at Lympstone Manor, the recycling solution includes recycling and recovery of waste from the kitchens, gardens and offices of the hotel which has 21 luxury guestrooms, 28 acres of gardens, grounds and parkland, and fine dining by Michael Caines.

Michael Caines MBE, says, “We are committed to recycling and respecting the wonderful estuary location we have at Lympstone Manor. Because we value our beautiful natural surroundings and the wild birds of the Exe estuary, recycling is a top priority. Coastal Recycling is delivering a solution that matches our attention to detail and vision.”

Coastal has developed a recycling system at Lympstone Manor with the objective of recycling or recovering 100% of the hotel’s waste. Paper, card, glass and plastics along with food waste, cooking oils and green garden waste are all collected from the hotel.

Richard Marsh, Director, Coastal Recycling says, “We are pleased to be working with Lympstone Manor, an exceptional hotel offering the very highest level of hospitality. We are delivering the ultimate solution for recycling across the hotel and its grounds ensuring we meet the exacting standards set by both organisations.”

Coastal recycling began its service for Lympstone Manor during its transformation from a former Grade II listed Georgian manor house, providing skips during the construction process and segregating plastics, metal and rubble. The hotel recycling solution began from launch in April 2017.
