RGB Building Supplies has reopened its Well Built Community Fund and is calling out to schools, charities and community groups to tell it about projects that have an autumnal theme for the chance to receive £1,000 worth of building materials.

This will be the builders’ merchants’ 20th Community Fund giveaway and whatever the reason for the nomination, RGB would like to hear about it. Maybe a charity needs to make repairs to ensure a building is safe for winter, or perhaps an amateur dramatic group needs help with staging for an autumn performance.

Paul West, Branch Manager at RGB Exeter, commented: “This will be our 20th Community Fund giveaway, meaning we have donated £20,000 worth of building materials to deserving groups across the region since we launched the initiative back in 2014. We are continually surprised to learn about the wide range of fantastic projects schools, charities and community groups take on for the benefit of their local community and we’re looking forward to hearing about how we can offer support for this giveaway.”

Groups can nominate their project by explaining how £1,000 worth of building materials could help. Nominations can be made by email to RGB@pmwcom.co.uk or by post to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU.  The closing date for nominations is Sunday 27th August.

From all the nominations received three groups will be selected as finalists, then the local community will be asked to vote for who they would like to receive the building materials.
