Work continues to progress well on a brand new pub and restaurant opening soon in Exeter.

The Pinhoe Hoard, which is being built by Marston’s Inns and Taverns, will cater for 185 diners and will offer fresh Rotisserie chicken every day, as well as a selection of other home cooked meals, and an extensive range of drinks.

The pub manager has now been recruited and activity is well underway to recruit all team members. We are now recruiting for the following positions including:

  • Front of house
  • Line chefs
  • Kitchen assistants
  • Cleaning staff

Interested applicants can apply on the Marston’s website at www.marstonscareers.co.uk

All new team members will complete a comprehensive training programme to help ensure they are ready for the pub’s opening. Training will include an extensive pre-opening training programme and e-learning courses, which includes two nationally recognised qualifications. In addition through the Marston’s Inns and Taverns career path modern apprenticeships / NVQ’s are available – as well as development opportunities through our Keyholder Supervisory and Chef programmes.

Marston’s Inns and Taverns are fully committed to supporting the career development of its employees.

Mark Burton, from Marston’s Inns and Taverns said: “We’re only two months away from opening and this is an exciting time for the pub, we believe that when it’s open, the Pinhoe Hoard will be a hub for the community that will not only offer great food and drink but also excellent value for money and fantastic customer service."

Due for completion in September, the pub is part of an ongoing new build scheme by Marston’s Inns and Taverns, as a drive to provide top quality pub restaurants across Britain.
