Leading independent education specialists Class People will be swapping their recruitment hats for Mr Men costumes this Thursday, all in aid of World Book Day.

This Thursday, Class People will be joining hundreds of schools and communities around the UK to help promote reading, with a particular focus on education to encourage those in the classroom to read more.

The team will be getting creative in the Exeter branch and dressing up as their chosen Mr Men character, as well as reading out extracts from the book over on their social media platforms.

Lynis Bassett, Chief Executive Officer, Class People says:
“We are inviting our teachers to join in and celebrate World Book Day with us by dressing up as their favourite literary character – which we hope they will share with us on our social media channels. Our main aim, as always, is to raise awareness of the teaching profession and show how much fun it can be to be a part of educating a child’s life.”

As experts in their field, the Class People team are no strangers to dressing up for charity and events to highlight the importance of being a teacher. They recently donned teacher-style mortar boards for Barnardo’s Hat Day and are planning future fundraising activities for the likes of MIND and Red Nose Day.

“As World Book Day is in it’s 20th year, we wanted to go all out for the occasion and show another side to our personalities.”
