RGB Building Supplies is delighted to launch The Big RGB Christmas Appeal in aid of Devon Air Ambulance Trust and is inviting customers and the community to donate a bag of good quality preloved items to the drop-off point in its Exeter branch. The bag of items will go on to be sold in the charity’s shops and help it continue to save hundreds of lives across Devon.

The Big RGB Christmas Appeal was officially launched on Monday 25th November when RGB mascot Archie Bee donated the first bag of items. Donations of clothing, shoes, books, DVDs and Blu Rays, toys, accessories, jewellery and homewares can be left at RGB’s drop-off point until Friday 13th December.

Tracy Owen, Fundraising Manager at Devon Air Ambulance Trust, commented: “We would like to thank RGB Building Supplies and their fantastic staff for their continued support of Devon’s Air Ambulances. It really does mean a lot to us and our patients. Thanks to them we can be there for families like Verity’s, whose two-year old son Joseph needed us when he became unwell earlier this year. Verity told us ‘Christmas this year could have been so different for our family if the Air Ambulance hadn’t been able to bring vital help to our home in time.’”

Paul West, Branch Manager at RGB Exeter, added: “We’re delighted to launch The Big RGB Christmas Appeal and help Devon Air Ambulance Trust’s shops to raise lifesaving funds. It’s extremely simple to donate, just fill a bag with good quality items that are no longer needed and place it in our drop-off point next to the Christmas tree. In advance, we’d like to thank our generous customers and local community for their donations.”

RGB Building Supplies’ Exeter branch is located on Alphinbrook Road.

RGB’s branches in Cornwall will be collecting donations to be sold in Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust’s shops.
