Ottery St Mary’s popular Rusty Pig collected the top award for its delicious street food at this year’s Nourish Festival, held at Bovey Tracey.

The Devon Street Food Awards at Nourish Festival in association with Devon Life celebrate the very best street food in the county.

The judges were Devon Life Editor Andy Cooper, ITV weather presenter Kate Haskell and Alex Murdin, Devon Home Cook of the Year.

Street food producers from across Devon entered the contest, with Rusty Pig awarded The Best of the Best after the judges were impressed by the stand’s Dexter sirloin steak, dynamic design and the passion of Rusty Pig owner, Robin Rea.

Robin said: “It was a real honour to receive the award with so many talented street food producers vying for top position.

“This award underpins our commitment to provide the very best taste experience for customers using only the very best ingredients.”
