Staff from Barratt Homes in Exeter have completed one of their most ambitious charity challenges – a skydive over the South Devon countryside.

Thirteen brave souls from the housebuilder’s regional division in Exeter completed the challenge to raise money for the Exeter Foundation.

“We wanted to do something together to raise money for our chosen charity and all the departments worked together on the fundraising,” said skydiver Kimberley Heywood-Cann.

“It was a completely unreal experience with some really nervous so everyone did fantastically well to overcome their fears for such a good cause.”

She said it was awesome to see the team encourage and support each other and so far the skydivers have raised £5,000 for the charity.

“Some of us are even talking about skydiving again we enjoyed it so much.”

Barratt managing director Paul Moran said the staff have all been innovative and successful in their fundraising efforts and praised the skydivers for their tremendous efforts. “It has been great to see how many people have committed to raising money for the Exeter Foundation and the skydivers really did go the extra mile in their efforts.”
