In 1914, Buenos Aires's emerging football community sent an invitation to the FA for an English team to travel there to play local sides.

The Grecians embarked on an historic tour of South America, which saw them play in Argentina and Brazil, in the...

6 – Don’t shave; the hair will grow back thicker! This old wives’ tale has been passed down to young women getting their first razor for generations. Yes, leg hair does grow back if you shave it. A painting inspired by the famous football game between German and British soldiers on Christmas Day 1914 was unveiled at Castle Galleries, Exeter on Saturday 19 July ahead of the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War on 4 August.

As Europe embarks on four years of events to mark the Great War, Bob Barker has produced ‘Sod This For A Game of Soldiers’, a touching commemoration that depicts unexpected fraternity in the gruesome theatre of war.

What is the secret? There are a few that elucidate why all statistics, with no exception, show women as more long-lived.

1 – Unhealthy Habits Excessive smoking, alimentation rich in fats, sedentary activities and consumption of alcohol are typical to men, and...

Top 10 McDonald’s Products That Failed

#1 McLobster

A take-off on the lobster roll, this sandwich was basically lobster meat on a hot dog bun, together with some lettuce and “McLobster sauce.” Every once in awhile, this product reappears in outlets across the country, only to disappear again. One problem with the McLobster is the price, as it costs more than most McDonald’s patrons want to pay. Another problem is that people don’t connect the upscale image of lobster with fast food.
