Exeter success at Energy Efficiency Awards

AN EXETER consultancy took a top prize at the South West Energy Efficiency Awards.

City Science, of Southernhay West, won the Energy Consultant or Consultancy of the Year award.

There were 13 categories up for grabs at the awards ceremony at Sandy Park Conference & Banqueting Centre, Exeter, on March 19th, attended by individuals and companies throughout the South West that are involved in the energy efficiency industry.

During a glittering ceremony last night in the Great Hall, the winners of the University of Exeter Impact Awards 2013 were revealed.

The impact awards celebrate the outstanding contributions researchers at the University have made to wider society.

Each award was separated into categories to showcase the particular area that they benefit.

Research and innovation aren't limited to academic study however and the Enterprise award sponsored by chartered accountants Francis Clark championed those companies that have an outstanding impact on the business world.

During a glittering ceremony last night in the Great Hall, the winners of the University of Exeter Impact Awards 2013 were revealed.

The University of Exeter recognised a diverse range of its world class research and its local business partners at the Exeter Impact Awards last night.

Research projects taking place across the university were highlighted for their benefit and contribution to society at the awards ceremony sponsored by the Wates group.

Led by Dr Jamie Stevens with support form Project partners: Westcountry Rivers Trust, Environment Agency, Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, and the Atlantic Salmon Trust this project is working to conserve the South West’s iconic fish.
