Multi award-winning Cofton Holidays is hosting a free health and wellbeing weekend packed full of activities for individuals and the family from Friday 1st March to Sunday 3rd March. The event will take place at Ashburn Springs Spa and Leisure featuring its gym and fitness studios.

The event marks the completion of a £17,000 upgrade in new gym equipment at the South Devon holiday park. Visitors who are keen to stay fit and healthy throughout 2019 can now enjoy a muscle working squat rack plus new treadmills and bikes that will get the heart pumping.

If running is a New Year’s resolution this year, bring your family and friends and join us for the National Trust’s Night Run on Saturday 26 January at East Soar Farm, near Salcombe.

The ancient farmland and woodlands are shrouded in mystery so experiencing them at night will add a whole new dimension to your running experience.

​South Devon University Technical College is bolstering its reputation as a prudent choice for students and parents seeking an innovative approach to their technical education, with its first set of post 16 results since the college was opened in 2015.

Cofton Achieves national recognition

Cofton Country Holidays, the multi award-winning holiday park near Dawlish, South Devon, has received official confirmation that it will receive one of the highest accolades in the world of camping and caravanning at the AA’s Caravan and Camping Awards on 20th March.

Council steps in to secure two bus routes in South Devon

Devon County Council has stepped in to secure the main sections of two bus routes in South Devon.

Bus operator Local Link is withdrawing its services which connect to Torbay. From Monday 3 April, a new contract will start with services operated by Country Bus to maintain links from two Devon villages to Paignton.

There will be five buses a day from Stoke Gabriel and one bus an hour from Marldon. The new contract has been awarded to Country Bus after a successful competitive tendering exercise.
