Devon trio unites to create an innovative health garden at Chelsea Flower Show

Three leading local companies have joined forces in a high-profile charitable project aimed at rewilding the environment, promoting healthy eating and raising awareness of bowel disease.

The project has been commissioned by Bowel Research UK with the aim of constructing a ‘Microbiome Garden’ that reflects a healthy gut. It has been funded by Project Giving Back and designed by top garden designers, Chris Hull and Sid Hill.

WOMEN in Exeter are being urged to pull on their trainers and enter Cancer Research UK’s Exeter bumper weekend as there are only a few days left until registration closes.

Families for Children are delighted to announce that we have been awarded of one of the prestigious Charity Governance Awards for 2018.

Families for Children were chosen from over 20 charities from across the UK each nominated to receive one of seven awards and a £5,000 unrestricted grant. The Song Cyclists, a group of five singers taking on an unprecedented challenge as they cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End giving a concert every evening along the way to raise £20,000 for the UK’s largest mental health charity Mind.

They will be singing at The Old Firehouse at 8pm on Thursday 19th July, performing a mixture of pop, folk and a cappella; entry is free with a retiring collection.
