Beautiful gardens needed for fundraiser

Calling all keen gardeners! Green-fingered enthusiasts in and around Exeter are being sought by WESC Foundation, specialist centre for visual impairment, to take part in an exciting new fundraiser this month. The inaugural WESC Foundation Sensory Open Gardens event is looking for people with beautiful, interesting or unique gardens to sign up and open their garden gates to friends, family and their local community in an effort to raise vital funds to help children and learners of little or no sight.

WESC learners celebrate GCSE results

Three learners from WESC Foundation, The Specialist Centre for Visual Impairment in Exeter, are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results.

The determined learners have faced more challenges than most, as they are all registered visually impaired, and they gained passes in Maths, Science, English, Leisure and Tourism, and PE along with thousands of other teenagers

Exeter School hosts sensory art exhibition

Exeter School is proud to host an exhibition of work by pupils of the WESC Foundation, the Specialist Centre for the Visually Impaired, for the third year running.

Sensational 2014, an exhibition of sensory artwork, will be held in Exeter School's new Art Department gallery from Monday 16 June until Friday 20 June.

Princesshay is collaborating with Radio Exe this festive season to support its Operation Christmas campaign. Operation Christmas encourages shoppers to buy an extra gift which will be donated to Princesshay’s local charity of the year, WESC Foundation.
