Rearranged date for City’s trip to Bristol Rovers announced

The rearranged date for Exeter City’s trip to Bristol Rovers has been announced as Wednesday 6th March (7.45pm).

City’s trip to the Memorial Stadium was originally due to take place last weekend, but heavy snowfall in the Bristol area meant the game had to be called off on grounds of safety.

Now the West Country derby between the Grecians and the Pirates will take place under the floodlights at the Mem on a Wednesday evening.

Ticketing details for the rearranged fixture will be confirmed shortly.

Exeter Festival of Winter Ales at the Park

After the roaring success of last year’s event, the Exeter & East Devon branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) are once again hosting their Festival of Winter Ales at St James Park this weekend.

The 24th edition of the festival is taking place on the evenings of Friday 18th and Saturday 19th January, open from 11am–11pm on both days. Admission is £2, or CAMRA members can enter for free. Students can also enter for free with a valid NUS after 5pm on Saturday.

Like previous festivals, CAMRA is providing over 60 beers that are produced solely in the winter months....

City end two-month winless run at St James Park

After seeing his side triumph by a comprehensive 3-0 scoreline against Southend United at St James Park, Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale praised his side’s attention to details in the preparation and on the field for earning the victory.

As well as earning a valuable three points – putting City into third in the npower League 2 table – it also ended a winless run dating back for over two months at the Park, and maintained Exeter’s 100 per cent record for 2013.

If you want to get a little post-feast exercise there is still time to join in with Exeter City FC's Charity Santa Dash on 29 December.

The event takes place at the Guildhall at 1.15pm on Saturday 29 December and finishes at St James’ Park ahead of kick-off in the home game against Barnet and for just £17 an adult and £5 per child (up to age 18) participants will receive a Santa suit and a match ticket for the game that afternoon.

Local volunteer Martin honoured with Trustee of the Year award

Devon Community Foundation hosted their annual Volunteer of the Year awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) in Exeter, honouring the hard work and achievements of the volunteers from the groups they support. Stillyano to play at Exeter's St James Centre

Local band Stillyano will be playing at the St James Centre starting at 8pm with all proceeds going to the Adam Stansfield Foundation.

The band made who are Antony Stylianou (singer/guitarist ), Ian Kendray (drums) and Seth Dunnett (bass) have seen their popularity and fan base grow have this year been helping raise funds for charities this way throughout the year.

Playing at some of the most popular venues around Devon the band have been wowing audiences with their music.
